Lackawanna County

Home to Scranton, Pennsylvania's sixth largest city, Lackawanna County is also home to many recreational opportunities. There's plenty to do in walking distance in Scranton, from shopping to dining, museums to the performing arts. Take a drive into the mountains and explore the great outdoors.

With four interstate highways, there's easy access to all there is to see and do, so get out and enjoy all Lackawanna County has to offer!

Lackawanna County includes the cities of Scranton, the county seat, and Carbondale.

Other towns include: Archbald, Blakely, Clarks Green, Clarks Summit, Dalton, Dickson City, Dunmore, Jessup, Moosic, Moscow, Old Forge, Olyphant, Talylor, and Throop.

Major roadways running in or through Lackawanna County include Interstates 81, 84, 380 and 476 (Northeast Extenstion of the Pennsylvania Turnpike); US Routes 6 and 11; PA Routes 106, 107, 171, 247, 307, 347, 407, 435, 438, 502, 590, 632, 690.
