Perched in the northeast corner of the state, Wayne County serves as the eastern side of the Endless Mountains, and northern border of the Poconos.
Visitors will find plenty to see and do, from shopping in small boutiques to taking a ride on the rails of the Stourbridge Line.
Honesdale is the county seat.
Other towns include: Bethany, Damascus, Equinunk, Gouldsboro, Hamlin, Hawley, Prompton, Starucca, Varden, and Waymart.
Major roadways running in or through Wayne County include Interstates 84 and 380; US Route 6; PA Routes 170, 191, 196, 247, 296, 348, 370, 370, 423, 435, 447, 507, 590, 652, 670, and 690.
