Starrucca Viaduct

Built in 1848 and still in use today, the Starrucca Viaduct has seen over 150 years of rail traffic. This stone arch bridge stands 100 feet tall, and is over 1,000 feet long.

Directions: From Interstate 81, take exit 230 and travel south on PA Route 171 for approximately 10 miles. In Lanesboro, continue straight onto Main Street instead of turning right to follow PA Route 171. The Starrucca Viaduct will be on your right in approximately one half mile.
