Montgomery County

History, culture, shopping, dining, and more await you in Montgomery County.

From an enormous mall in King of Prussia to boutiques along a small town's main street, Montgomery County is a shopper's paradise.

Those wanting to getaway from commercialism can hit the ground in one of the state parks, or learn about the Revolutionary War in Valley Forge.

Norristown is the county seat.

Other towns include Ambler, Ardmore, Blue Bell, Collegeville, Conshohocken, Glenside, Hatboro, King of Prussia, Kulpsville, Lansdale, Montgomeryville, Plymouth Meeting, Pottstown, Souderton, and Willow Grove.

Major roadways running in or through Montgomery County include Interstates 76, 276 (Pennsylvania Turnpike), and 476 (Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike); US Routes 30, 202, and 422; PA Routes 23, 63, 73, 100, 113, 152, 232, 252, 263, 309, 320, 332, 363, 463, 563, 611, and 663.
