One of the suburbs of Philadelphia, Delaware County is a mix of urban, suburban and rural landscapes.

Chester is the only city in Delaware County. The borough of Media serves as the county seat.

Other towns include: Aldan, Ardmore, Clifton Heights, Darby, Drexel Hill, Eddystone, Lansdowne, Parkside, Radnor, Ridley Park, Sharon Hill, Swarthmore, Upland, Upper Darby, Villanova, and Yeadon.
