The Schuylkill Mall is convenient to both locals and those traveling along Interstate 81. Watch for the signs coming in and out of the mall, as it can be a little confusing entering and exiting the area. The mall itself is a bit dated, and several of the storefronts are vacant.
The real gem here is Black Diamond Antiques, a co-op of dealers with everything from general household items to true collectibles and antiques. You can easily spend the better part of a day wandering the aisles and searching through each of the booths for that special something.
Famous Labels just recently opened, which may help spur continued redevelopment of the mall.A Cracker Barrel restaurant, located just below the main mall building, has provided us good service and decent food each time we've dined.
